Creativity in crisis artist date!

I'm taking a class called creativity in crisis through the art of education. One of our assignments was an artists date where we made a date with ourselves to createwhat ever we wanted too. This was my date!

There are 9 students in the multi handicap class now. For our first project we worked with many different mediums. Acrylic paint- value back ground

Oil pastel tutorial art 3

Every Tuesday we complete an online tutorial. Here is the outcome from yesterday's tutorial. Layers and layers of pastels gave us this beautiful moon over water. Mine is below.

Makalya tried working in wire!  she wanted to incorporate pictures and objects into an exclamation point!  She also had trouble figuring out how to make it stand up correctly.  A guest speaker came in and said "How cool would it be if you put it on a small lamp inside!"  She loved that IDEA!  Here is her end result!

John McClain music teacher!  Amazing show!  We got to paint the back drops!!

Artwork in short north!!!

Brie Mullins is an amazing artist. Since she has surpassed any of my art class levels I sought out some ways to get her name out in the public!  

Emailed a few galleries around downtown Columbus and was shut down. But low and behold one of those nice owners remember me when an opportunity arose.  Sherrie Hawk a Wonder Woman and gallery owner in the short north told me about Pies and pints grand opening. They were looking for HS students to show in their store!!! Awesome sauce!!!  

Here r the works she placed there during the month of June!

She was also chosen for the top 300/12000 winners of the governors youth exhibition! The first picture was also bought and hung at the ode office!!!  

 

Summer dayz!

Changing up some lessons again!  I know, I know...  but things are still not right!  Im working on getting everyone on the same page, doing the same thing. Digging deeper, challenges and your turn!
